Chicken Biryani
Ingredients
Chicken Biryani Recipe - Recipe
- 1 KG Basmati Rice or Suduru Samba Rice
- 750 g Chicken Pieces (and/or desired meat)
- 50g Curd or Butter
- 90g Biryani MIX "InnduSri"
- 15g Red Onions
- 6 -7 Slice of Garlic
- 10g Ginger
- Rampe Leaves "InnduSri"
- Curry Leaves "InnduSri"
- Cardamon 3pcs ""innduSRi"
- Cloves 3pcs "InnduSri"
- Ghee as required
- Salt as required
- Coriander Leaves
- Cashews nuts and Raisins
Chicken Biryani Recipe - Recipe
- To marinate chicken, add "InnduSri" Biryani Mix, a pinch of Salt to the cut and washed chicken pieces, and leave for 20 minutes,
- Chicken Prep - Add marinated chicken and water (as required) and cook until chicken softens. Strain the chicken stock and keep aside.
- Rice prep - Wash and drain "InnduSri" 1 KG rice (Rice Basmati / Suduru Samba), add salt as necessary and cook until medium cooked.
- In a pan, heat margarine/oil (amount equivalent to a tablespoon), add garlic, ginger, chopped onions, "InnduSri" rampah Leaves & curry leaves with pinch of Salt (as required) and fry until light brown.
- For Fried Mix - In separate pan add "InnduSri" biryani mix (10g), chopped onion, sliced garlic, ginger, curry leaves, 3pcs of "InnduSri" cardamon and cloves.
- In a pan, mix the medium cooked rice, chicken stock and fried mix. Add ghee/ butter/ margarine and curd (as necessary) and cook until rice is done. Optional - Garnish with coriander leaves, cashew nuts and raisins. Best served hot.
